The Chamber of Commerce, at 10 Corbin Drive is a nonprofit business financed by membership dues with the purpose of serving the town of Darien. It is committed to taking a leadership role in supporting the business community and quality of life here.

The chamber acts as a liaison between the business community and local, state, and federal governments. It notifies members of legislation that will directly affect business in Darien. It offers educational and networking opportunities to help businesses grow, and it creates a regional awareness of the business community. It also promotes the town to prospective residents.

Carol Wilder-Tamme is the Darien Chamber’s president and CEO. 

The chamber sponsors or coordinates two scholarship awards, July SideWalk Sales & Family Fun Days, Darien Goes Green, Fall Wine Tasting & Auction, the traditional Christmas tree lighting celebration and other events throughout the year.
