A Better Chance, also known as ABC, is a national program that provides academically talented minority students with access to good schools, both private and public, that they otherwise could not attend. Students live with resident directors in a house on Brookside Road while attending Darien High School during the week. On two weekends each month, the students spend time with host families. For information, visit abcdarien.com. The website includes information on Darien ABC alums.
